DIGITAL Sovereignty

Cloud migration that gives you control over your data and more predictable costs. We help you reduce your dependence on US hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, and Google.

0%

of your data is accessible under the US CLOUD Act if your provider is EU-owned and operated.

40%

lower infrastructure costs than hyperscaler on-demand pricing, for comparable workloads.

What we do

Rectangle 512

Cloud analysis→

We assess your cloud environment and identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities to reduce costs and vendor lock-in.

You’ll get: A clear assessment with practical recommendations and a prioritized action plan.

Rectangle 512 1

Cloud migration →

We move your applications to a sovereign cloud in controlled phases while your business keeps running without interruption.

You’ll get: More control over your infrastructure, fewer dependencies, and predictable cloud costs.

IMG

Sovereign AI →

We deploy open-source models, like Llama or Mistral, on infrastructure you own and connect them to your documents and systems.

You’ll get: All the benefits of AI without exposing sensitive company data to third-party providers.

Four layers. One framework.

We assess every cloud environment across four areas that determine how much control you really have.

Infrastructure and operations

Where do your workflows run? Who operates the data center? Who has physical and administrative access? How resilient are the power supply and hardware supply chains?

Technology and stack

Which technologies keep your options open, and which lock you into one provider? Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Terraform are portable. DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, and Cognito are not.

Data

Where is your data stored? Which laws apply? Who can access it? Who controls the encryption keys? BYOK and HYOK aren’t buzzwords, they’re architecture decisions.

Governance

Do your contracts include audit rights? Do you have a tested exit strategy? The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) requires exit plans that actually work.

Our approach to your digital sovereignty

We’re hyperscaler-independent.

We don’t sell cloud infrastructure. We recommend the platform that best fits your architecture, compliance requirements, and budget. Our recommendations are fully independent.

We build it with you from start to finish.

Our engineers migrate production systems, build backend platforms, and can operate them if you want. Cloud architecture, backend, frontend, mobile, and AI. One engineering team.

We don’t lock you in to one vendor.

We build your solution so you stay independent. You choose the platform. You keep control. You can run it yourself or hand it over to another partner whenever you want.

We make sure to lower your bills.

STACKIT, IONOS, and Open Telekom Cloud typically cost less than AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud for the same infrastructure. No multi-year contract required to get a fair price.

01 ANALYSIS

Analysis of your cloud architecture

We assess your environment across all four dimensions of digital sovereignty. The result is a clear picture of vendor lock-in, data sensitivity, and migration effort across your workflows.

  • Infrastructure and operations review
  • Technology and stack audit
  • Data location and access mapping
  • Governance and contract review

02 ROADMAP

Prioritization by risk, effort, and business value

Quick wins first. We’ll show you what to migrate first, what to modernize, and what can stay where it is. Not everything needs to happen at once.

  • Prioritized migration backlog
  • Cost and effort estimate per system
  • Quick-win identification
  • Modernize vs. lift-and-shift decisions

03 DELIVERY

Migration in controlled phases

No overnight migration. We move in stages while your applications stay in production. Migration is also a chance to clean up technical debt that has accumulated over the years. Instead of moving unnecessary complexity to a new platform, we remove it. That reduces costs and leaves you with a platform that’s easier to operate.

  • Phased migration execution
  • Zero-downtime cutover planning
  • Technical debt cleanup
  • Rollback planning

04 OPERATIONS

Operations and handover

When the migration is finished, your team can take over with documentation and training. If you prefer, we’ll continue operating the platform under clearly defined service levels. Either way, the choice is yours.

  • Documentation and runbooks
  • Team training and handover
  • Defined service levels
  • Ongoing operations, if you want it

Don’t worry, whatever it is, we’ve got you covered in our FAQ.

No.

Mid-sized companies are often more exposed, since they often lack a dedicated IT department managing a broad set of providers, and more often rely on a single platform.

No. Sovereignty means freedom of choice.

Many digitally sovereign companies will still use US hyperscalers, but they’ve deliberately prepared alternatives and exit strategies should they become necessary.

Yes, for three reasons.

Enterprise agreements expire too, and showing up to renewal talks with a proven alternative puts you in a stronger negotiating position. New workflows can launch elsewhere, independent of your existing contract. And those discounts usually apply to list prices, which stay high by European standards, especially for data transfer.

A single backend system typically takes three to six months.

Larger environments with multiple systems run six to twelve months or more. Our cloud analysis gives you a solid estimate for your specific case upfront.

That depends on scope and the mix of categories, so we won’t quote a flat fee.

After the cloud analysis, you’ll get a fixed price range for each migration wave. And the math isn’t just about one-time cost. Factor in the permanently lower running costs too, since they often make up for the upfront investment within a reasonable timeframe.

Read-only access to your cloud environment, nothing more.

Your technical contact can set it up in minutes, limit how long it lasts, and revoke it once we’re done. Your production and personal data stay in-house the whole time.

Typically two to three weeks after signing.

We’ll lock in a kickoff date together, then the analysis runs for the agreed duration.
