Who are we looking for
You know how to open doors. We build what’s behind them.
When something doesn’t land the first time, you don’t take it as a stop sign. Your focus will be on researching markets, identifying potential clients, making first contact, and generating leads. You’ll be the first voice prospects hear from DECODE, so curiosity, communication skills, and grit matter more than years of experience.
We’re looking for someone who can get a message through crowded channels and turn cold outreach into conversations worth continuing.
Your responsibilities
- Research target markets and identify prospects: new verticals, buying signals, company triggers,
- Develop and execute a sustainable outreach strategy (email, LinkedIn, etc.) aimed at generating new sales opportunities,
- Proactively reach out to potential clients, building, and maintaining relationships,
- Make first contact, capture clients’ needs, spark genuine interest, and ensure leads progress through the sales funnel,
- Track and analyse outreach performance, automate it, iterate what isn’t working, scale what is
- Keep CRM data clean, accurate, and up to date,
- Stay on top of IT industry trends so you can speak credibly with technical buyers,
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and pipeline quality.
We expect
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Croatian,
- Motivation and the ability to take initiative: you don’t wait for the phone to ring,
- Persistence: you can take being ghosted 100x a day and still continue with the same energy,
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills: you know how to write a cold email that gets a reply,
- A solid level of technical knowledge and active follow-up on general IT trends,
- Quick learning when adopting new technologies, services, and products.
Bonus points
- Previous sales experience in IT or similar roles,
- Experience in outbound sales or lead generation,

Salary range
1.100 – 1.900 EUR + Bonus

- Fully remote work – If you’re a Developer or QA and don’t live in Zagreb, or prefer to work entirely from home, we offer a full remote option for mid-level and senior roles.
- Voluntary pension contributions (third pillar) – If you want to invest more in your future, you can opt into third-pillar pension contributions. The amount you choose is automatically deducted from your gross salary.
- Housing support – We offer rent reimbursement through a gross salary deduction.

- Referral bonus for new colleagues – If you recommend someone who joins our team, we’ll thank you with a referral bonus.
- Referral bonus for new clients – If you help bring in a new client, you receive a bonus for expanding our network.
- Performance bonus – We like to end the year on a high note. When the company does well, everyone shares in the bonus. You receive a bonus based on company performance, with the amount defined by role, tenure, and one month’s gross salary.
