Who are we looking for
You’ve built pipeline without someone handing it to you. You know what it takes to close in international IT sales — different markets, different cultures, different ways of building trust. And somewhere along the way, figured out that understanding what someone actually needs is where deals are really made.
Your responsibilities
- Generate new business,
- Own and drive new business opportunities, from qualification to closing,
- Build and grow long-term client relationships, not just short-term deals,
- Lead presales activities: meetings, proposals, solution shaping,
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms,
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget,
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs,
- Spot risks, solve problems, and keep clients happy,
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities,
- Keep CRM up-to-date, clean, structured, and actually useful,
- Analyze market trends and competition, and propose improvements to our offering.
We expect
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree,
- 5+ years in sales, account management, or business development,
- Commitment to generate new business on your own,
- Experience in software development services or the IT industry,
- Ability to sell and communicate at C-level,
- Strong commercial mindset: you understand both client needs and business impact,
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Croatian,
- Ability to work with engineers, PMs, and designers,
- Solid understanding of software development processes,
- Proactive, structured, and comfortable owning outcomes.
Bonus points
- Bringing in hot leads or clients,
- Background in custom software development,
- Technical background: CS, IT, Engineering, or similar,
- Experience in Telco, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or similar industries.

Salary range
Base salary: 2.000 – 3.500 EUR monthly
Sales Commission: up to 2500+ EUR monthly

- Hybrid work model – Sometimes it’s nice to stay home and work in comfort. Remote days are always available, with the number depending on seniority: juniors have 74 remote days per year, mid-level roles 110, and seniors 165.
- Voluntary pension contributions (third pillar) – If you want to invest more in your future, you can opt into third-pillar pension contributions. The amount you choose is automatically deducted from your gross salary.
- Housing support – We offer rent reimbursement through a gross salary deduction.
- Loyalty rewards – We mark the milestones. You’ll receive a reward after 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 years with DECODE.
- Christmas bonus – December is a month of giving, and Santa Claus always makes a stop at DECODE.
- Referral bonus for new colleagues – If you recommend someone who joins our team, we’ll thank you with a referral bonus.
- Referral bonus for new clients – If you help bring in a new client, you receive a bonus for expanding our network.
- Performance bonus – We like to end the year on a high note. When the company does well, everyone shares in the bonus. You receive a bonus based on company performance, with the amount defined by role, tenure, and one month’s gross salary.
