Metaswitch (a Microsoft Company) is one of the most persistent telco software vendors on the market, and the world’s leading cloud-native communications software company. They support more than 1,000 service providers globally, including tier-1 operators such as Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, Orange, Telmex, and AIS.
The challenge
Working with Metaswitch was an honour, but it did come with its fair share of challenges.
Mobile communications are getting unified, blending the native dialer of the smartphone with network-based voice and messaging services, multiple personas, groups, etc.; overtopping the OTT apps’ experience (features).
Real-time communication applications are highly demanding in performance, usability, and feature richness, requiring expert domain and platform knowledge which DECODE has accumulated over the years.
The solution
By working closely with Metaswitch’s in-house engineers and exchanging knowledge and expertise on both sides, we were able to develop several apps with rich communications features and an unprecedented user experience.
