- Technical expertise, applied with care — We built a secure, scalable backend in Ruby, hosted on AWS, to power the platform reliably. For payments, we integrated Token.io to enable open banking transactions. We added Twilio for user notifications to keep people engaged.

rightvybe is a cross-platform mobile app that rewards users with instant savings when they buy digital gift cards. Every purchase also generates “vybes” — points that rightvybe converts into charitable donations at the end of each month, giving users the satisfaction of contributing to good causes without spending extra.

Instant savings rewards
Users earn instant savings every time they buy a digital gift card through the app. Once they reach £10, they can redeem it as cash or use it to buy more gift cards, turning everyday spending into savings.
Vybes for good
Every purchase also generates “vybes,” rightvybe’s way of turning rewards into charitable giving. At the end of each month, rightvybe converts these vybes into a donation pot, giving users a sense of impact without any extra cost.
Digital gift card marketplace
At the core of righyvybe’s offering is a user-friendly marketplace where people can easily browse, buy, and manage gift cards from top high street brands. Offers are filterable by category, making it simple to find the perfect deal.
Secure payments
The app integrates with Token.io to enable secure open banking payments, ensuring users can make purchases with confidence.
Admin dashboard
The admin panel gives the team full control over the platform. They can set savings rates, manage offers, track users, and monitor earnings, all from one place.
How we got there
We worked closely with rightvybe’s founder, CTO, and UX/UI designer to understand their goal of combining instant savings rewards with charitable giving.
Collaborative planning
Through onboarding workshops, we defined key features like vybes, instant savings, and the admin dashboard, translating the big idea into a roadmap we could build together.
Daily communication
We set up a dedicated Slack channel for open communication. Daily messages and weekly stand-ups kept both teams aligned, ensuring quick decisions and transparency throughout the project.
Delivering with trust
We built features in iterative sprints, shared demos regularly, and maintained honest communication at every stage. This helped us deliver a reliable MVP on schedule and build the foundation for future growth.
